Medical Director

Dr. Ife Abiola attended the University of Lethbridge, where he majored in Biological Science, with a focus on Behavioural Ecology in the laboratory of University president Dr. Bill Cade. Ife transitioned into medicine, completing his basic science, topical medicine and infectious disease observerships at the Spartan Health University School of Medicine and clinical rotations at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago. Ife assisted in the Access at Madison Clinic suboxone program for patients suffering from opiate dependency in 2014, before completing his degree in 2015 with a focus in Internal medicine and Pain Management.

Ife joined the 420 Clinic in 2016, and has become a recognized authority in the scientific and medical applications of cannabis. Participating in numerous televised talks and forums detailing the necessity of education regarding cannabis, he has consulted and presented for such groups as Alberta Health Services, Peter Lougheed Hospital, Canadian Orthopedic Nurses Association and several other organizations and levels of government.

Something you may not expect to learn… is that Ife moonlights as a movie and television actor.

Vice President, Marketing

Amber Craig has over 15 years of experience in the professional media and journalism industry,
with an extensive editorial portfolio that spans two decades. In 2007, she transitioned into the marketing side of media with a position in real estate media. Upon leaving that position in 2010, Amber stepped into entrepreneurship and launched a marketing company. She is also the Co-Founder of a local tech company and Co-Founder of an Alberta-based non-profit. She specializes in editorial content, graphic design, media relations and social media marketing.

Amber spearheaded the brand development and marketing of 420 Clinic since its inception, but joined the company full-time in 2017.

Something you may not expect to learn… is that Amber used to work as a hockey reporter and columnist.

Vice President, Operations

Ryan Kaye has nearly 20 years of combined experience in hospitality, sales and business development. His responsibilities have spanned from sales management to product distribution. He spent six years with Wild Rose Brewery, playing a key role in the company’s extensive growth over that period.

Ryan has comprehensive experience working in liquor distribution and sales, a highly government-regulated area. His understanding of both provincial liquor laws and regulations are a tremendous asset to our team.

Something you may not expect to learn… is that Ryan once taught English in Seoul, Korea.


Jeff Mooij has over 25 years of management in the service industry. Jeff founded the 420 Clinic in 2014 and has positioned that company as a leader in the medical cannabis industry in Western Canada. He is the chairman of the Board of Directors of 420 Investments Ltd., which manages the operations of all three 420 entities: 420 AM, 420 Clinic and 420 Premium Market.

Chief Operating Officer

Kato has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry. His past experience is in consulting and as an operating partner for multiple establishments in the hospitality industry.

Kato has over 12 years of retail and sales management experience in the retail and wellness industry, and was a liaison to Workers’ Compensation Board (Alberta) for chronic pain clients.

Something you may be surprised to learn… is that Kato was once offered a position to be a cartoonist for the Chicago Tribune.

Chief Financial Officer

Garrett Popadynetz began his career in the audit and assurance group of Pricewaterhouse
Coopers, and earned his Chartered Accountant designation. He later moved on to be a partner at Arthur O. Solheim LLP and then established his own registered CPA accounting firm. He has been in public practice for the past eight years, advising private companies on finance,
accounting, operations, tax planning and corporate restructuring.

Something you may be surprised to learn… is that Garrett used to be an auto mechanic.

Project Manager

Todd Pringle’s career includes over 20 years of professional experience in IT management (C-level), Project Management (PMP) and SAP consulting. His business background spans Oil & Gas, Utilities, Pharmaceuticals and Food Manufacturing domains, including positions of increasing responsibility with Vistavu (SAP), Enmax, Flint Transfield Services, Agrium, Sylogist (SAP) and Shaw Pipe Protection.

Something you may be surprised to learn… is that Todd is an Ironman athlete, coach and the author of the book, ‘Project Ironman’.
