There are many ways to consume medical marijuana, and through edibles is a very popular method. Infusing your food with marijuana helps you ingest your medical cannabis without having to smoke or vaporize.
Making your own cannabutter allows you to easily infuse all of your meals with cannabis! Here’s how to make it:
- 1 lb unsalted butter
- 1 cup water
- up to one ounce of cannabis (never go beyond your prescribed amount)
- Add one cup of water and 1 lb of butter into a stock pot or sauce pan and let it melt and begin to simmer on low.
- As butter begins to melt, add in your ground cannabis product.
- Maintain low heat and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Make sure the mixture never comes to a full boil.
